Fenway Park Rainbow

A Precious Day at Fenway

We had too little time together and were determined to make it worthwhile. Would nosebleed seats be worthy of our memory?

The overcast sky threatened rain before the sun broke through and illuminated the field, bleachers, and metallic giants beyond the green walls. A rainbow’s colors sprang from the right field pole and arced over Boston in response.

The crowd trekked up to our seats for the best view in the city while we were content to sit next to each other.

The pressure to do something meaningful faded, replaced by an appreciation for a precious day at Fenway.
